  Bear in mind there were 4 adults and 4 children separated over two tables it meant one side had finished half hour before the over.. Also that we ourselves had finished 20 minutes further before the children.

  It's frustrating to write this as I'm not one really to complain but what was meant to be a quick breakfast turned into an ordeal that lasted over an hour.

  Been coming here for years and never had a problem. Used many of the bars and food outlets and all seem good. We always end up back at number 1 bar specially for happy hour

  My husband and I visited Number One following a recommendation from fellow hotel guests. I would recommend going along for a pre dinner cocktail during their 'Happy Hour' 5pm to 7pm. There is a menu of cocktails included in the happy hour two for one deal. The Sea Breeze and 'Long Island Tea' will give you an appetite and are delicious.

  Initially the waiter took the order for one side of the table. Then waited a further 15 mins to ask our side. Upon my wife asking for 2 English breakfasts he walked away, I waived him back and gestured towards the children to say we'd like to order some for them. My wife made the simple request to have the beans and eggs left off the order of which he said it wasn't possible. Within 5 seconds of deciding what we were going to do he said he'd come back... 15 minutes later.... So again we requested 2 more breakfasts for the children minus the egg and beans.. We remonstrated that we'd be willing to still pay for the full breakfast. So what transpired was a situation where my wife and myself receiving our breakfast 20 minutes before the children. Which any parent would say that the priority of the child to have food first is imperative as boredom and the wish to eat mummy and daddy's breakfast can become apparent.

  An incident concerning coffee placed directly in front of a 1 year old which could have potentially scolded her. (we've to wait to see the consequence) this was avoidable if common sense was demonstrated. I personally think also when an incident like this occurs a simple gesture of goodwill of replenishment.

  The waiter brought over the cutlery for the meals but considering there were 4 adults and 4 children 3 sets of cutlery isn't efficient. We had to waive him down to obtain more. This is all seems petty but its the simple basics.
